Continuing education training programmes for postgraduate diploma offered by the Faculty:
- in Health Promotion (Hungarian programme)
- in Hospital Hygiene and Infection Control (Hungarian programme)
The above trainings are two-year, part time trainings, available in Hungarian, for public health professionals with university degree, who work or wish to work in any of the following institutes:
- departments, institutes and offices of national public health services,
- health care policy institutes (Ministry of Health and other ministries; regional health care councils),
- health care and social departments of local governments,
- central and regional offices of the funds and organisations financing health care,
- environmental protection institutions,
- organisations of industrial and agricultural sectors,
- occupational health institutions,
- major health care institutions,
- departments of public health of universities, colleges, and other institutes,
- civil organisations interested in public health-related issues.

Faculty of Engineering success at the control engineering programming competition
A team of students from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen was among the first three at the 29th National István Ajtonyi Control Engineering Programming Competition. There were teams from Hungarian, Romanian and Serbian technical institutions of higher education taking part in the competition held in Serbia.
Local BMW plant holds the first practical training course for automotive vehicle engineering students
The training session of the first group of students enrolled in the vehicle engineering bachelor's degree (undergraduate) program in the automotive vehicle engineering specialization at the BMW Group Factory Debrecen Training Center has been completed.
